I broke my neck at the age of 18 in a car accident. My injury is at a C3 level, meaning, I am paralyzed from the neck down. I have no feeling from the upper part of my shoulders, down.

Immediately after my accident, I realized that being quadriplegic can be a very hard thing to deal with. For 36 years I haven’t been able to take care of personal tasks such as writing letters, using a computer, banking, basic communication and personal shopping.

My wish was to be as independent as I possibly could be. With QuadJoy, I can make things happen.

Because of my condition, I was told there was a limit to the things that I could do or accomplish. Now that I’m working with my QuadJoy, I’ve been able to explore things I would’ve never thought possible. One of my biggest problems was that I lacked the tools and the right equipment to move forward.

Using my QuadJoy, now I can use my phone properly for calls and navigation. I’m using my computer to check my emails, sent text messages and delete and end calls. I’m using programs such as WordPress so that I can now build websites and pretty much do all the basic things that people with their hands can do. Most importantly, by using my QuadJoy, I am able to have financial independence and banking privacy.

I now can go online, open bank accounts, apply for banking cards, maker personal transactions store personal passwords and use direct deposit and pay my bills without anyone’s assistance.

QuadJoy has given me total control of my life. This device has helped me in so many, many, many ways.
