Two Year Warranty

Coverage

This limited warranty applies to a QuadJoy Mouse furnished and sold by Street Electric Manufacturing Company LLC (SEMCO) and applies to the end-user.

Defects

This limited warranty covers QuadJoy repairs to correct any malfunction occurring during the Warranty Period resulting from defects in material or workmanship.

Repairs

To obtain warranty repairs, the end-user must request the needed repairs within the warranty period from SEMCO. Only approved components supplied by SEMCO will be used in the repairs. SEMCO may at its discretion, repair or replace components. A reasonable time must be allowed to perform the warranty repair after the QuadJoy Mouse is returned to SEMCO. Repairs will be performed during normal business hours. (Limited warranty service may be obtained by delivering QuadJoy Mouse during the warranty period to SEMCO. If the QuadJoy Mouse is delivered by mail, the end-user agrees to insure the QuadJoy Mouse or assumer the risk of loss and/or damage in transit. The end-user also agrees to prepay shipping charges to SEMCO.)

Warranty Period

The warranty period begins on the date in which the end-user purchases the QuadJoy Mouse or date in which the QuadJoy Mouse is put into use prior to sale, whichever comes first. The warranty period ends after a period of two years. Proof of the purchase date must be provided before any repairs and/or replacements will occur.

Replacement

QuadJoy Mice which cannot be repaired will be replaced at SEMCO’s discretion. A replacement QuadJoy Mouse will be supplied by SEMCO as a replacement for the defective QuadJoy Mouse still under warranty. The replacement QuadJoy Mouse will assume the identity of the QuadJoy Mouse replaced and be entitled to the remaining warranty.

Incidental or Consequential Damages

SEMCO is not responsible for incidental or consequential costs, expenses, and/or damages which the end-user may incur as a result of malfunction or failure covered by this warranty, such as communication expenses, shipping costs, loss of equipment use and/or downtime, inconvenience, and other similar costs, expenses, and/or damages.

QuadJoy 1 and QuadJoy 2 Devices

QuadJoy 1 and QuadJoy 2 units have not been manufactured or sold by SEMCO in over 10 years and there is no remaining warranty on these devices. We will be happy to evaluate these devices, for a fee plus all shipping costs. There are still some mechanical issues we may be able to assist with, but if there are any electronic (circuit board) issues, those are not serviceable. Exclusions and Other Limitations

This warranty does not cover replacement or repairs required due to accidents, misuse, storage damage, disaster, negligence, or modifications made without prior written authorization from SEMCO. Specifically, this warranty does not cover shorted or damaged pressure switches due to contact with saliva. The performance of repairs is the exclusive end-users remedy under this warranty. SEMCO does not authorize any person to assume or create for it any other obligation or liability in connection with the QuadJoy Mouse. SEMCO reserves the right to change this warranty statement without notifying the end-user. Furthermore, all previous copies of this warranty statement become void upon the revision of this document by SEMCO.
