The Future of QuadLife
It is no surprise that many disabled people contemplate suicide every day. When your life shifts from near unlimited independence to being held captive in a body that restricts you it takes a huge toll on the persons mental strength. The thought of an escape seems sweet and your only shot at being free. We have found that the majority of our customers are Holy Spirit people and share in our love of the Lord.
22 Veterans commit suicide daily from their struggles returning to the States after their time in the Military. Serving overseas in war zones brings out painful memories that are hard to live with. Pills, drinking, drugs are many methods that soldiers use to escape the pain and horrors they now have to live with. Suppression of memories and thoughts only lasts so long before a person is pushed to their breaking point. Not having a new purpose for their life can really push a person to suicide.
The next part of QuadLife is to bring Quadriplegics and Veterans together. We’re thinking a care facility in Florida where people can work for each other to take of each other. What better way to bring purpose to both Quads and Vets? Several acres are desired to be able to form a self sustaining facility where everyone takes care of each other. The Quads will be able to bring purpose, truth, a breath of fresh air to the Vets whos souls are beaten.
The Vets will be able to bring so much to the facility. Farming and livestock are just a few things planned at this facility.
It is the intention that Vets and Quads will be housed onsite and possibly any nursing staff.
Something to think about…
