Both the Hydrophobic Filter and Line & Leur are important components that may need replacement to prolong the life of your QuadJoy.
Hydrophobic Filter: a barrier of protection to keep saliva out of the magnet holder.
Line & Luer: a pressurized tube connecting the magnet holder to the pressure sensors.
When to Replace Parts:
When moisture is observed in the clear Line and Luer tubing. Replace Line and Luer
When moisture accumulates in the saliva filter or looks discolored: Replace Saliva Filter
When the Sip & Puff Gestures are harder to activate: Replace Hydrophobic Filter
